CREATION DEALHow we review AI tools
We evaluate AI products against repeatable tasks, real workflow costs and the needs of a clearly defined user.
Our evaluation process
We begin with the search intent and define who the product is for. We then compare a short list using representative tasks, consistent source material and the same success criteria.
We assess output usefulness, factual reliability, correction time, ease of use, integrations, export quality, privacy controls and total workflow cost. A polished answer does not score well when its claims are difficult to verify.
Pricing and value
We link to official pricing pages because plans and limits change. We consider entry price, renewal terms, usage limits, team administration, onboarding and the time required to review output.
Free plans are assessed as an entry point, not automatically treated as better value. Paid plans are recommended only when their additional capability solves a documented constraint.
Ratings and recommendations
A recommendation describes the best fit for a type of reader, not a universal winner. We explain strengths, limitations and practical alternatives so readers can make their own decision.
We do not award higher placement in exchange for commissions, free access, sponsorships or gifts. When access or compensation could create a conflict, it must be disclosed.
Review cadence
High-interest AI guides are checked after major product releases and at least quarterly. Lower-volatility guides are checked at least twice a year. Pricing and policy claims should always be confirmed on the provider’s current website before purchase.
